Is pricing per person or per craft?
Per craft. A double kayak hired for two people is one hire at the double kayak rate — not two individual hires. This makes GoKayak significantly better value for pairs and families than per-person pricing.
How does the full-day discount work?
Book both the morning slot (Slot A) and the afternoon slot (Slot B) at the same location on the same day and a discounted full-day rate applies automatically at checkout — no code needed.
Do I need to pay upfront?
Yes — full payment is taken at the time of booking to secure your slot. You'll receive an instant email confirmation once payment is complete.
Are there any additional charges?
No. The hire rate is all-inclusive — equipment, delivery, briefing and collection. The only exception is parking at your chosen location, which is managed independently of GoKayak.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel more than 48 hours before your slot and you'll receive a full refund minus a small cancellation fee to cover card processing costs. Cancel within 48 hours and the booking is non-refundable.
Do you offer discounts for large groups?
Group hire is handled by enquiry and we can discuss package pricing for larger bookings. Use the Group Hire page to get in touch.
Can I get a gift voucher?
Yes — gift vouchers are available and valid for 12 months from purchase. They can be redeemed at any of our four locations. Visit the Gift Vouchers page for more.
